Til Gud Ladoo (Sesame & Jaggery Ladoo)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sesame seeds (til)

  • ¾ cup grated jaggery

  • 1 tbsp Ghee

  • 2 tbsp crushed peanuts (optional)

  • 2 tbsp grated coconut (optional)

  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder


👩🍳 Instructions

1. Roast the sesame seeds

  • Heat a pan on medium flame.

  • Add sesame seeds and dry roast until they start popping and turn slightly golden.

  • Remove and keep aside.

2. Roast optional ingredients

  • Lightly roast peanuts and coconut if using them.

3. Prepare jaggery syrup

  • In the same pan add ghee and grated jaggery.

  • Heat on low flame until jaggery melts and becomes slightly bubbly.

4. Mix ingredients

  • Add roasted sesame seeds, peanuts, coconut, and cardamom powder to the melted jaggery.

  • Mix quickly so everything coats well.

5. Shape the ladoos

  • Turn off the heat.

  • While the mixture is warm, grease your palms and roll small balls.
