Til Gud Ladoo (Sesame & Jaggery Ladoo)

Ingredients

1 cup white sesame seeds (til)

¾ cup grated jaggery

1 tbsp Ghee
-
2 tbsp crushed peanuts (optional)

2 tbsp grated coconut (optional)

¼ tsp cardamom powder
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Roast the sesame seeds

Heat a pan on medium flame.

Add sesame seeds and dry roast until they start popping and turn slightly golden.

Remove and keep aside.
2. Roast optional ingredients

Lightly roast peanuts and coconut if using them.
3. Prepare jaggery syrup

In the same pan add ghee and grated jaggery.

Heat on low flame until jaggery melts and becomes slightly bubbly.
4. Mix ingredients

Add roasted sesame seeds, peanuts, coconut, and cardamom powder to the melted jaggery.

Mix quickly so everything coats well.
5. Shape the ladoos

Turn off the heat.

While the mixture is warm, grease your palms and roll small balls.
