This Indian Sprouts Salad with Vinegar is a refreshing, protein-rich and healthy recipe made with sprouted legumes, crunchy vegetables, and tangy Sugarcane Vinegar. It’s perfect as a light snack, detox salad, or side dish.


📝 Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mung Bean Sprouts (moong sprouts)

  • ½ cup chopped Tomato

  • ½ cup chopped Cucumber

  • ¼ cup chopped Onion

  • 1 tbsp Sugarcane Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Mustard Oil (optional for flavor)

  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp chopped Coriander Leaves

  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice


👩🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the sprouts

  • Use fresh moong sprouts.

  • You can use them raw or lightly steam them for 3–4 minutes if you prefer softer sprouts.

2. Chop vegetables

  • Finely chop cucumber, tomato, onion, and coriander leaves.

3. Mix the salad

  • In a large bowl combine sprouts, cucumber, tomato, and onion.

4. Add dressing

  • Add sugarcane vinegar, mustard oil, lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.

5. Toss and serve

  • Mix everything well and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

  • Serve immediately for the best taste.
